Formerly performing as John s Off the Band, Mattia steps forward to perform under his own name. This talented young artist`s music mixes influences such as Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, and The Specials, but his art is inspired by the music of the 50s and 60s all shaken up with Hawaiian melodies and the spirit of surfing.

Mattia`s July 2, 2005, solo performance at the Kuta Food Festival in Bali was taped for broadcast on Indonesian television. After years playing festivals and clubs in Europe and Indonesia, Mattia has been performing in Bali with his current Indonesian band since February 2006. His performances include a show at the Bali Hard Rock Cafe for Hard Rock Radio.

以前、ジョンズ・オフ・ザ・バンドのメンバーとして演奏していたマッティアは、一歩進んで自分の名前で出るようになった。この若いアーティストの音楽は、ジャック・ジョンソン、ベン・ハーパー、ザ・スペシャルズといったアーティストの影響もあるが、50年代・60年代の音楽、ハワイのメロディーとサーフィンのスピリットも混じっている。
2005年7月2日、バリの"Kuta Food Festival"クタ・フード・フェスティバルでのマッティアのソロ・パフォーマンスは、インドネシアのテレビ放送のために収録された。何年か、ヨーロッパやインドネシアのフェスティバルやクラブでプレイした後、2006年2月から、マッティアはバリで、彼のインドネシアのバンドとプレイしている。彼のショーは、ハードロック・ラジオで知られるバリ・ハードロック・カフェなどがある。
